Detectives are investigating a fourth scene after officers found a woman dead in her apartment on the 300 block of Ramsey Street in addition to three others killed over the weekend in unrelated shootings. Officers were called to the scene around 11:30 on Monday morning, but further details are limited.

A man is dead after being shot around 10:40 p.m. Monday on the 800 block of Albemarle Street, near Lewis Park in Saint Paul, police confirmed. When police arrived on the original report of shots fired in the area, they found a man who was lying on the ground with a gunshot wound.

An Illinois man was sentenced Tuesday to more than eight years in prison and three years of supervised release for setting fire to a cell phone store in Minneapolis in the aftermath of the killing of George Floyd.

Eric Reinbold, 44, was seen on a law enforcement trail camera near his parents’ property in Red Lake County late Tuesday night. The camera had been set up in a wooded area off of County Road 1, in the area that had been searched by authorities in the days after his disappearance.

An inmate that was serving time at the Stillwater Correctional Institution was sentenced to 10 years in prison after he sexually assaulted a prison guard in June of 2019. Inmate Mal Pauliet Tharjiath, 28, was convicted of 4th-degree criminal sexual conduct and 4th-degree assault.
