A Chaska officer saw the suspect on the wrong side of the road, then pulling into an Arby’s drive thru and ordering food. He then fled over a curb and the pursuit ensued.

Emergency personnel responded to the crash around 2:06 p.m. near 269th Avenue Northeast and Tucker Trail Northeast in Athens Township.

Ground units had discontinued the pursuit before the crash occurred, but a Minnesota State Patrol helicopter continued tracking the suspect vehicle from above.

The incident began shortly after 10 a.m. on April 7, when law enforcement initiated a pursuit that concluded on County Road 9, west of the intersection with County Road 16 in Fischer Township.

According to initial information, Saint Paul officers were dispatched just after 12:40 a.m. on Monday to Cheers Pub at 1067 Hudson Road for multiple 911 callers reporting gunfire.

Authorities say a woman ran across the highway and was struck by an oncoming vehicle in the right lane. The driver stayed at the scene and was not hurt.

The incident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. at a home on the 3400 block of Third Avenue South. According to police, firefighters and paramedics arrived at the scene first, followed by officers who assisted with the response.

Authorities say a 1996 International Harvester semi-truck, driven by a 24-year-old man from New Richland, Minn., was turning into a business when it was hit by a Canadian Pacific Kansas City train.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the driver of a 2020 Honda Civic exited the highway and continued through the intersection at the ramp’s end before colliding with a barrier.

St. Louis County emergency crews were dispatched to the 7800 block of Blue Spruce Road in Meadowlands Township just before 7 p.m. for a report that a person had been run over.

Officers found one victim bleeding from a knife wound to the neck and inside the residence, they located a man and a woman struggling on the floor.

During phone monitoring, authorities intercepted the suspect having a conversation indicating plans to smuggle contraband into the jail.

According to a criminal complaint, Ber’tavion Anton Boyd, 18, was seen by a fellow student showing what appeared to be a handgun inside his backpack while at Woodbury High School on Monday.
